Hi everybody!! I am completely new at doing this sort of thing, but figured I could give it a try. Some of you know the whole story of how I ended up here in San Salvador (for those of you who don't, maybe I'll tell you here some time ) ;). I never dreamed this is what I would be doing right now, but God has amazing plans when we surrender our own and desire His above all else. After MANY prayers and seeking Him, He led me here to this amazing family to be a nanny to their four kids. I am really enjoying getting to know them. I will try and keep you all updated on here and post pictures as I get them.
So, the biggest change so far is by far the heat and humidity. Seriously, I don't think you could even hardly rip a piece of paper if you tried, it would just wring out water. (Okay, maybe I'm exagerating just a Leetle bit ) but it is definitely something to get used to.
My challenge from the day came from John 4:50, when the nobleman asked Jesus to heal His sick son. Jesus told him to go on his way and he would do what he asked. What was his reaction? Did he need proof? Did he argue to see how sure he could be that this man would do as he asked? Did he doubt, going around seeing how many people agreed that Jesus could be trusted? No. "So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to Him, and he went his way." Just that simple. Jesus said it - I believe it. May it be true of me today.
Excited to hear about your journey. My
