So my new assignment yesterday was to help little boys conjour up amazing feats of engineering which they enthusiastically refer to as boobie traps. There are a couple around the house that are pretty good!! You walk through the front door and if someone happens to be at the right place at the right time, a swinging water bottle comes from the top of the stairs (mind you, the lid is on, so no one gets wet). Alas, I'm afraid they are better at it than I am. But we do our best :)
Yesterday was spent just getting to know everyone more. Richard and Jen had a dinner here on Friday night so the staff and interns could meet me. They are all a great bunch of people and I loved getting to meet them and look forward to spending more time with them. Then Jen took me with her to have coffee with a friend who is here with her husband and kids as missionaries with YWAM. I really enjoyed that. We sat up on a balcony drinking frozen coffee and the wind was even blowing!! Made me feel right at home... except I didn't see any dirt in the air :)
Today is Sunday and I'm looking forward to finding out what they are like here in San Salvador and in the Mullinax household. May each of you find your true, complete joy in Jesus today.
